Standard Metrics, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of an AI-driven portfolio management platform for venture capital and private equity firms, has raised $20 million in a Series B funding round led by 8VC.

The round also saw participation from Salesforce Ventures, Spark Capital, January Capital, First Trust Capital Partners, Socii Capital, Kindergarten Ventures, Calm Ventures, Gaingels, and others.

The company plans to use the funding to strengthen its AI capabilities, expand its team, and reach more private market investors and portfolio companies.
