California-Based Notable Appoints Nicholas Desai as Chief Medical Officer

Desai joins Notable from Houston Methodist, where he held several senior roles in clinical technology, and hospital operations, including System Chief Medical Information Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Medical Officer, and Chief Quality Officer.

Most recently, he helped lead the development and opening of Houston Methodist Cypress Hospital bringing together clinical operations, technology, and organisational culture from the start.

Desai brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare, technology, and organisational change. His work has focused on connecting technology with clinical operations while improving growth, quality, financial performance and workforce efficiency.

His appointment supports Notables focus on helping healthcare organisations use AI to increase capacity improve access to care reduce administrative work and make better use of existing resources.

Desais experience supports Notables vision of a System of Work, where AI-agents and people work together across existing systems to complete tasks from start to finish. The goal is to help healthcare teams do more without adding extra administrative work for staff or patients.

At Notable, Desai will work with health system leader's to identify key opportunities align clinical and operational teams, and turn priorities into practical workflows. His focus will include patient access care operations and workforce productivity.
