Voya Energy, a Hayward, California-based clean tech and sustainable energy infrastructure startup, has raised $35 million in a Series A funding round led by Energy Impact Partners.

The round also saw participation from venture capitalist John Doerr, Mantis VC, StepStone Group, Founders Fund, Overmatch Ventures, and Seven Stars.

The funding will support technology development, initial deployments planned for 2027, and manufacturing scale-up in 2028.
