Cohesity Appoints Matthew Johnston as Senior Director, Partner Sales

In his new role, Johnston will lead the company’s partner sales strategy across the region and drive growth through its Cohesity Aspire Partner Programme.

Johnston’s appointment reflects Cohesity’s efforts to strengthen its partner network across Asia Pacific and Japan. The move comes as businesses focus more on data security, data protection and compliance as part of their digital transformation plans.

Reporting to Peter Hanna, Cohesity’s Vice President of Sales and General Manager for Asia Pacific and Japan, Johnston will oversee the delivery of data security and protection solutions across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, ASEAN, South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Johnston brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across Asia Pacific. Before joining Cohesity, he served as Chief Revenue Officer at Odaseva, where he led sales, marketing, business development, solutions engineering and partnerships.
