Colorado-Based Quantum Appoints Mike Heuer as Chief Information Officer

Heuer will lead Quantum’s global IT organisation, overseeing enterprise applications, data, AI adoption, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

Heuer most recently served as Chief Information Officer at Legence, a Blackstone portfolio company, where he built its IT function and supported growth through more than 20 acquisitions.

Before that, he was Head of Global Information Technology at Blackhawk Network, leading the rollout of enterprise ERP and CRM systems across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Earlier in his career, Heuer held technology leadership roles at Peet’s Coffee, Blue Shield of California, and Applied Materials, where he worked on enterprise applications, infrastructure, and digital transformation. He began his career in Accenture’s artificial intelligence practice.

Heuer holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Northwestern University and serves on the board of the Felidae Conservation Fund.
