Infinity.inc, a San Francisco, CA-based AI infrastructure research company building a software layer services that make AI chips inference-ready, has raised $15 million in a Seed funding round, at a $100M valuation.
SUMMARY
- Infinity raised $15 million in seed funding at a $100 million valuation.
- Infinity is an AI infrastructure company that develops software to help AI chips run AI models more efficiently with its AI agent, Ignition.
- The funding will be used to expand product development, grow the engineering team, and strengthen partnerships with AI chip companies.
The round saw the Backers Touring Capital, along with Principal VC, and other angel investors.
The company will use the funding to expand its automated AI research platform and further develop Ignition, its AI agent that creates inference code for new AI chips. The investment will also help the company grow its engineering team and speed up collaborations with chip partners, including d-Matrix.

Infinity is already generating millions of dollars in annual recurring revenue (ARR) through its chip design partnerships. The company helps both established and emerging chipmakers solve a major challenge by building the software needed to run AI inference on their chips.
Infinity's solution is Ignition, an AI research agent that automatically creates, tests, and improves the low-level code that helps AI chips run more efficiently. It continuously learns from performance data to generate better code with each update.
Ignition allows engineers to focus on chip design and architecture instead of spending time on manual code optimization. Infinity works closely with its chip partners, using Ignition to strengthen and improve their existing hardware and software platforms.
“Every major technology platform ultimately creates the most value when it becomes broadly accessible. Infinity is tackling one of the defining challenges of the AI era: making powerful AI affordable and available at scale,” said Songyee Yoon, founder and Managing Partner, Principal Venture Partners. “We are proud to back a team building the infrastructure needed to extend the benefits of this revolution to many more people.”
“The AI industry has operated under an artificial constraint that only a handful of chips could run AI well, because only NVIDIA spent decades building the software to make them work optimally. Ignition eliminates that constraint,” said Jeremy Nixon, founder and CEO of Infinity. “We believe the next era of AI will be defined not just by who makes the best chip, but by who can make any chip run state-of-the-art models at blazing speeds.
“The approach to AI-driven model enablement has the potential to significantly shorten the time required to bring new AI compute architectures into production, helping accelerate deployment and time-to-first-revenue,” said Sid Sheth, founder and CEO of d-Matrix. “We’re excited about Infinity’s mission to help unlock the full potential of the next generation of AI compute.”
