Datavault AI appoints Frank Deo as Chief Technology Officer of its Acoustic Sciences Division

In his new role, Frank Deo will lead the integration of the division's technology across its acquired businesses. He will also expand the use of AI-assisted development tools and standardize engineering processes across teams. His main focus will be to simplify the technology platform, improve efficiency and reduce operating costs as the division continues to grow.

Frank Deo will lead the engineering team for Datavault AI's Acoustic Sciences Division, which develops technologies such as ADIO®, WiSA®, Event Citadel™, and API Media for spatial audio, data-over-sound communication, and live events. He previously served as Vice President of New Media Technology at API Media and will report to David Reese, President of the Acoustic Sciences Division.

His appointment strengthens the division's leadership as Datavault AI explores spinning it off into a separate public company. The proposed plan is still subject to board approval, regulatory requirements, and other closing conditions.
