Jun 20, 2026 | By Startuprise io

CPT Group, Inc. has appointed Sondra Monroe as its new Vice President of Business Development.

The appointment is a strategic leadership move that supports CPT Group’s continued growth and expansion in the complex litigation and settlement administration industry.

Sondra brings 28 years of experience in class action administration, Qualified Settlement Funds, fiduciary services, and corporate trust. She has a strong track record of building and managing client relationships across the country, and joins CPT Group at a time when demand for specialized settlement administration services is growing rapidly.

In her new role, Sondra will focus on winning new clients and expanding existing relationships. She will work closely with law firms, managing agents, and court-appointed parties to strengthen partnerships and position CPT Group as a trusted provider for complex class action administration matters.

Sondra is known for her hands-on, client-focused approach. She works closely with clients to understand the specific needs of each case and develop tailored solutions, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

Throughout her career, she has successfully identified new business opportunities, helped grow operations from startup stages to national scale, and built long-term strategic relationships with clients and partners.

Before joining CPT Group, Sondra held senior business development and advisory positions where she helped build national partnerships with law firms and expanded claims administration, escrow, and legal services businesses.

She earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Charlotte School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Southern Mississippi. She also completed Advanced and Foundational Certificates in Mass Tort Multidistrict Litigation from Duke University School of Law’s Bolch Judicial Institute, previously held FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses, and currently maintains Insurance Producer Licenses in North Carolina.

"I'm excited to bring my experience in complex litigation administration, Qualified Settlement Funds, and financial services to help expand CPT Group's relationships within the class action and mass tort legal communities," said Monroe. "I value the trust and collaboration I've built with attorneys, law firms, and industry partners throughout my career — and I look forward to continuing that work as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate complex matters with efficient, tailored solutions backed by CPT's commitment to precision and trusted settlement administration."
