Hippo Appoints Stewart Ellis to the Board of Directors

Hippo announced that its Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, and former CFO, Stewart Ellis, will join the company’s Board of Directors effective June 3, 2026. As part of the transition, he will step down from his current role on May 1, 2026, and continue as a consultant to the company.
Before joining Hippo as CFO in 2019, Stewart Ellis worked as CFO at Earnin (2017–2019) and at BloomReach (2012–2017). He also held finance leadership roles at 23andMe from 2008 to 2012. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a George F. Baker Scholar.
