Insurance-Based OneShield Appoints Rick Becker as Senior Vice President

In this newly created role, he will help develop and launch new products and capabilities for OneShield’s insurance customers.

The appointment comes as OneShield continues to grow across its insurance customers. The company is developing AI-powered tools for underwriting, claims, and billing that can work with customers’ existing systems.

"Insurance technology is at an inflection point," said Becker. "Carriers and MGAs are moving from experimenting with AI to running it inside daily underwriting and claims work, and the ones doing that well are already seeing it compound.

Becker's appointment reflects OneShield's continued investment in practical tools its customers can put to work. "We did not hire Rick to fill a gap. We hired him to raise the bar," said Tony Villa, CEO of OneShield. "Rick has spent decades on the customer side of our industry, running the exact businesses our software supports.
