King’s College, a private Catholic university in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, has announced an expanded partnership with eCampus.com.
The collaboration will support the launch of Monarch Access, a new course materials delivery program set to begin in Fall 2026.
Designed as an Equitable Access initiative, the program will give undergraduate students access to required textbooks and digital course materials on or before the first day of class. This is intended to reduce costs and improve access to learning materials.
eCampus.com and King’s College first partnered in 2021 to improve the College’s retail and course materials services. Through this partnership, eCampus.com operates Monarch Outfitters, the campus store, and also provides the College’s online bookstore platform.

Building on this collaboration, Kings College, and eCampus.com have explored new ways to support student needs better. The Monarch Access program is the next step, designed to create a more convenient, affordable and inclusive course materials experience.
Through eCampus.com’s technology platforms, students will automatically receive all required course materials based on their class schedules. Physical textbooks will be delivered to campus for pickup at Monarch Outfitters while digital materials will be available through Moodle or eCampus.coms personalized digital bookshelf.
eCampus.com will also integrate directly with King’s College’s Student Information System. This will allow students to access a personalized dashboard through Single Sign On (SSO) making the process simpler and removing barriers to access.
The Monarch Access program focuses on making textbooks more affordable and reducing the financial burden and stress students face in getting the right course materials. Faculty are encouraged to select cost-effective, high-quality content that best supports student learning.
This is supported by improved software that provides transparent pricing and includes Open Educational Resources (OER), helping guide more informed academic decisions.
