Longitude Health has appointed Colin Drylie as Chief Operating Officer of Longitude FX, a new initiative that recently received funding approval from the Longitude Health Board of Managers.

As Chief Operating Officer, Colin Drylie will oversee operations and help execute the strategy for Longitude FX. The platform is designed to improve shared services across health systems, including patient access, customer support, revenue cycle management, and back-office operations.

Colin Drylie joins Longitude FX as Longitude Health continues to expand its next-generation shared-service solutions. The Longitude Health Board recently approved funding for the launch of Longitude FX and plans to develop new AI-powered customer contact and enterprise shared services capabilities.

The platform is designed to help health systems reduce operational complexity, automate manual tasks and improve performance in high-volume patient access activities. It will use shared infrastructure, common system integrations, and AI-driven workflow orchestration, with future applications across revenue cycle management, patient experience and other enterprise functions.

Colin Drylie is an enterprise transformation executive and former Humana leader with more than 20 years of experience in strategy, digital transformation, product management, design and operations. He has led major modernization initiatives in healthcare organizations and is known for aligning business strategy, technology, operations, and customer experience to improve performance, and drive growth.

Colin Drylie has also served on the board of Aspen RxHealth and has experience as a founder, innovator, and executive coach. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with Distinction from Queen's School of Business.

Most recently, Colin Drylie served as Senior Vice President of Experience Transformation at Humana. In that role, he led the development of digital customer experiences and oversaw efforts to modernize customer engagement platforms across the organization. His work included standardizing and upgrading operations across 120 contact centers and supporting more than 35,000 employees.

Earlier in his career, Drylie held leadership positions in Medicare product strategy, corporate strategy, and clinical innovation. Before joining Humana, he worked as a project leader at Monitor Group and Doblin, which is now part of Deloitte Consulting.

"As Longitude FX advances its strategy, we must have leaders who understand both the complexity of healthcare operations and the discipline required to turn transformation into execution," said Jim Lester, Chief Executive Officer of Longitude FX. "Colin has led enterprise-scale modernization inside one of the nation's largest healthcare organizations, and he understands how to bring together operations, digital capability and customer experience in ways that create real value. His experience will be instrumental as we build a platform designed to help health systems improve access, lower costs and strengthen patient engagement."
