MemryX, a developer of AI inference acceleration technology, has appointed Ross Jatou as Chief Executive Officer and Joe Faris as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

The new appointments strengthen MemryX’s leadership team as the company expands its AI acceleration technology beyond edge computing applications and into emerging data center markets.

Ross Jatou brings more than 30 years of experience in the semiconductor and AI industries, with expertise in engineering, operations, and business leadership. He joins MemryX from Alat Corporation, where he led semiconductor and AI infrastructure initiatives.

Before that, Jatou served as Senior Vice President of the Intelligent Sensing Group at onsemi. He also spent 15 years at NVIDIA, where he most recently held the role of Vice President of Engineering, overseeing enterprise, automotive, and AI platforms.

Ross Jatou succeeds Keith Kressin, who has led MemryX since December 2021. During his tenure, Kressin helped bring the companys AI inference products to market, expand its global customer base and advance its hardware and software platforms for commercial use.

Joe Faris joins MemryX as the company expands its customer base across edge AI, industrial, automotive, and infrastructure markets. He brings more than 20 years of experience in business development, sales, and technology leadership.

Most recently, Faris worked at Luminar Technologies, where he led global business development, and engineering teams serving automotive and industrial customers. Before that, he held leadership positions at onsemi, overseeing applications engineering for sensors and processors, and spent nearly 10 years in technical roles at Intel and TRW.

"AI adoption is increasingly being shaped by efficiency, deployment flexibility, and time to production," said Faris. "MemryX has developed a compelling solution that addresses these challenges with a mature hardware and software platform already proven in real world edge deployments. I'm excited to help expand the company's customer and partner ecosystem as we scale into new markets."

"With Ross and Joe joining the leadership team, MemryX is exceptionally well positioned for its next phase of growth," said Rick Bolander Board Member, MemryX. "Their combined expertise across semiconductor engineering, operations and global customer engagement strengthens the companys ability to scale commercially while continuing to advance its differentiated AI inference technology.
