Madison Square Garden Sports Corp Appoints Quentin Dolan as President, Chief Operating Officer

Madison Square Garden Sports Corp. Executive Chairman and CEO James L. Dolan has announced the appointment of Quentin Dolan as President, Chief Operating Officer, and Alternate Governor of the New York Rangers, effective immediately.

In his new role, Quentin Dolan will work closely with Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury on the team's overall strategy and direction. Drury will continue to oversee hockey operations and remain responsible for all hockey-related decisions.

Quentin Dolan most recently served as Senior Vice President of Player Performance and Science. He will continue to oversee player performance and sports science programs for both the Rangers and the Knicks while taking on his new responsibilities.

As President, Chief Operating Officer, and Alternate Governor, Quentin Dolan will oversee the day-to-day ownership responsibilities for the New York Rangers and their AHL affiliate, the Hartford Wolf Pack. He will report to MSG Sports Executive Chairman and CEO James L. Dolan, who is stepping back from the Rangers' daily operations. Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury will report to Quentin Dolan.

Before his new appointment, Quentin Dolan served as Senior Vice President of Player Performance and Science, where he led player performance and development programs for both the New York Rangers and the New York Knicks. He oversaw areas including medical services, strength and conditioning, nutrition, mental performance, and performance analytics.

Quentin Dolan joined MSG Sports in 2022. He has also served as Vice President and Strategic Advisor to the Executive Chairman, as well as Investment Director. In addition, he has been a member of the MSG Sports Board of Directors since 2021.

“I’ve always had a tremendous respect and admiration for the New York Rangers organization, it’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember,” said Quentin Dolan. “I’m honored to have this opportunity to ensure our hockey operations staff, coaches, and players have all the support they need to provide our fans a product they can be proud of. I’m looking forward to immediately getting to work with Chris Drury, Mike Sullivan, and the entire staff.”

“Quentin and I have worked together for several years, and I believe his taking on this role will only make the Rangers organization stronger,” said Chris Drury. “The front office and coaching staff will be working in unison with Quentin in all key areas of our team in an effort to put this franchise in the best position possible to compete for a Stanley Cup.”
