
Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, North Americas largest regional amusement park operator, has appointed Mark Pauls as Chief Operating Officer effective July 15, 2026.
Pauls will succeed Tim Fisher, who will remain with the company as a special advisor through December 15, 2026, to support a smooth leadership transition.
In that role, he managed the company's nationwide operations and led initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability and EBITDA. Earlier in his career, Pauls held senior leadership positions at SeaWorld Parks and Busch Gardens, where he oversaw park operations with a strong focus on guest experience and service quality.

Mark Pauls brings nearly 50 years of experience in the entertainment industry. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Herschend Family Entertainment, where he helped lead the integration of Palace Entertainment after it's acquisition in December 2025. Before the acquisition, he was Vice President of Operations at Palace Entertainment.
