Elveo plans to use the same model to develop manufacturing facilities in Europe and Asia with regional partners, creating a global supply chain for its low-Earth orbit (LEO) network.
Elveo’s network will use patented satellite technology that follows 3GPP non-terrestrial network (NTN) standards.
Its satellites will feature advanced onboard processing and networking, allowing the network to adapt and expand as mobile network operators’ needs change.
As a vertically integrated partner, Apex will bring proven spacecraft platforms and expertise in high-rate production to equip Elveo with the capabilities it needs to operationalize its own production facility. Elveo will use this blueprint to expand its manufacturing facilities into Europe and Asia with regional partners, building a truly global supply chain for its low-Earth orbit (LEO) network.
"As a leading manufacturer of next-generation spacecraft, Apex is helping us establish vertically integrated production and scale our supply chain, giving us an innovative and capital-efficient path to build our fleet," said Ramu Potarazu, Chief Executive Officer, Elveo.
"Working with Elveo is a perfect example of how Apex's model can help accelerate proliferated LEO constellation deployments," said Ian Cinnamon, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Apex. "By partnering to stand up a dedicated production facility, we're leveraging Apex's deep expertise in mass manufacturing spacecraft platforms to deploy Elveo's constellation years ahead of traditional bus supplier timelines."
