ProFound Therapeutics, a Cambridge, MA-based developer of medicines harnessing the expanded human proteome, has received an investment of up to $35 million from the Gates Foundation, including an initial investment of $20 million.

The funding will support its ProFoundry platform and AI capabilities to discover new biomarkers, protein drugs and drug targets for preeclampsia and eclampsia.
