UT-based Mobly Secures $2.5Min Seed funding. With participation from VITALIZE Venture Capital, Peak Ventures, Tenzing Capital, Upstream Ventures, Service Provider Capital, and angel investors, Peterson Ventures led the round.
The firm plans to speed the development of new enterprise features and capabilities, grow its technical team, and further scale go-to-market operations using the funding.
Co-founder and CEO Zach Barney, co-founder and COO Kris Jenkins, and CTO Joe Turner run Mobly, a mobile-first software platform that enrols qualified leads in CRM and marketing automation systems once they are obtained during live events.

Field marketing, demand creation, sales, and revenue leaders benefit from more precise records, pipeline visibility, forecasting, and operational continuity thanks to it. Field teams can use the event-agnostic Mobly app to search contacts by name and company or to use AI-powered optical character recognition (OCR) to scan a badge or business card.
