[Funding alert] NYC-based Hatz AI Secures $2.5m in Funding

Hatz AI, a NYC-based company, secures $2.5 million. Vestigo Ventures led the round, with participation from Matt Higgins from RSE Ventures and Shark Tank, Jim Brown from Long Ridge, Jon McNeill, founder of DVx Ventures, and Alex Weiss from ClearSky.

In addition, Iqram Magdon-Ismail, a musician and co-founder of Venmo, was a former president of Tesla and COO of Lyft; Aidan Kehoe is connected to Nadia Partners.

Hatz AI, which was co-founded by Jimmy Hatzell and serial entrepreneur Aidan Kehoe, gives MSPs the tools they need to create an AI-as-a-Service business which involves vector storage, AI applications, AI agents, and customised Large Language Models (LLMs) that are run by an LLM Ops engine and controlled via a multi-tenant platform.

In March 2024, Hatz AI will launch its first products that are available to the public. AI Application Builders and Organizationally Managed AI Assistants will be included as part of the initial release.

The company plans to release its AI Phone Customer Service Agents to the general public later this year. Additionally, the multi-tenant platform will allow for the management and training of vector databases and custom LLMs.
