Pixelworks and Kinepolis Partner to Bring TrueCut Motion Format

The partnership aims to deliver an improved moviegoing experience by offering audiences enhanced motion quality and more immersive visuals in newly released theatrical films.

The collaboration combines Kinepolis’ network of premium cinema screens with TrueCut Motion technology to deliver a high-quality viewing experience. The goal is to help audiences enjoy movies as filmmakers intended, with smoother motion and fewer visual distractions.

TrueCut Motion is an award winning technology that gives filmmakers greater control over how motion appears on screen. It allows them to adjust and refine motion effects for individual scenes during post-production while preserving the movie’s intended cinematic style.

The platform also ensures that these creative choices are displayed consistently across different viewing formats and devices, including movie theaters, televisions, mobile devices, and next generation headsets. It supports both 2D and 3D content, helping deliver a high quality viewing experience everywhere.
