PointFive Raises $60M in Series B Funding Led by Accel

Jun 9, 2026 | By Startuprise io

PointFive, a NYC-based company that specializes in AI and cloud efficiency services, has raised $60 million in a Series B funding round led by Accel.

The round also saw participation from Salesforce Ventures, Entrée Capital, Perpetual Growth, Vesey Ventures, Sheva Ventures, and Index Ventures.

The company plans to use the funding to strengthen its offerings in AI services, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure. It also aims to expand its presence in the U.S. market and is expected to make a major platform announcement later this week.

PointFive helps companies identify unnecessary spending and understand the reasons behind it. The platform uncovers inefficiencies across cloud infrastructure, data platforms and AI workloads that are often missed by traditional cost management tools and manual reviews. It operates in a read-only, agentless mode, making it easy to deploy without disrupting existing systems.

Once waste is identified, PointFive automatically send's recommendations to the engineers responsible for fixing the issues. Customers report reducing cloud costs by up to 30%, with an average return on investment exceeding 1,000% based on actual savings achieved.

According to the FinOps Foundation's 2026 State of FinOps report, workload optimization and reducing waste have become the top priorities for organizations. The report also found that 98% of companies now actively manage AI related spending a significant increase from 63% just one year earlier.

At the same time, cost management is shifting away from traditional financial dashboards and becoming more closely tied to engineering decisions. As AI workloads create new and often complex expenses, many older cost-management tools struggle to provide the visibility needed. Organizations increasingly need engineers to identify and resolve cost issues quickly and at scale.

"Every company is now an AI company, and every AI company is about to get a bill it did not budget for. The old playbook was never built for this: tag everything, build a dashboard and hope someone acts on it. PointFive finds the waste at the source and puts the fix in the engineer's hands. That is the only way efficiency scales," said Alon Arvatz, co-founder, and CEO of PointFive.

"With the global spend in cloud and AI growing from c. $350B in 2025 to more than $1T by 2030, the cost of running AI is fast becoming one of the largest line items in the enterprise. The PointFive team realised that managing cloud and AI infrastructure is an engineering problem, not a dashboard problem, and they have built the leading agentic platform to help engineering teams maximise cloud and AI efficiency. We have been very impressed by their vision and are excited to lead this round and partner with Alon, Gal and Amir," said Philippe Botteri, Partner at Accel.
