Why the Funding Matters

Sava operates in the US trust and estate industry, which the company estimates is worth more than $6.5 trillion.

Traditional trust administration can involve lengthy onboarding processes, manual paperwork, compliance checks, and ongoing reporting. Sava aims to simplify these tasks through AI powered workflows supported by experienced trust officers.

The company is targeting trust onboarding in days rather than weeks or months. It also charges a transparent, flat annual fee per trust, allowing families, and their advisors to understand the cost upfront.

Who founded Sava?

Sava was founded in 2025 by Nimit Maru and Rush Sadiwala. The company is headquartered in New York City.

Its team combines expertise in AI, software engineering, product design, and institutional trust administration. Head of Trusts Jordan Wolff brings more than 20 years of industry experience and previously served as Head of Trust and Estate Administration at Hightower Advisors, which has more than $340 billion in assets under management.

"Trusts are powerful tools for protecting and transferring wealth, and we see an enormous opportunity to make them more accessible," said Nimit Maru, co-founder and CEO. "Raising our seed funding and launching a Nevada-chartered trust company is a major milestone in our vision to create a better experience for families, attorneys, and advisors.

"Forming and managing trusts is unnecessarily complex and messy. When we first met the team at Sava, they already had a clear vision for how to automate the legal and financial components of this multi-trillion-dollar industry," said Darian Shirazi, general partner at Gradient.

Market and Business Growth

Sava is building its platform for the US trust and estate industry, serving families and professionals involved in trust creation and administration.

Its services cover trust onboarding, funding, compliance, reporting, accounting, and distributions. The company aims to improve visibility into these processes while reducing administrative delays, and manual errors.

What Happens Next?

Sava plans to strengthen its technology and infrastructure and expand access to its estate planning tools. It will continue developing its AI-powered trust administration platform alongside its regulated fiduciary services.

The company aims to make trust creation and administration more accessible by reducing processing times, improving transparency, and offering predictable annual pricing.
