Townsend Retirement & Investment Advisors appoints Anthony Schembri as Senior Vice President

In his new role, Schembri will lead the firm's operations, technology, process improvements, and growth initiatives, helping Townsend continue to provide the personalized service its clients expect.

Schembri brings more than 30 years of experience in wealth management, investment operations, and financial services. During his career, he has helped financial firms grow, improve operations, enhance client service, and meet changing regulatory requirements.

Before joining Townsend, Schembri was Senior Vice President and Director of Investment Operations at Clarfeld Citizens Private Wealth. He led major operational improvements, including the successful conversion of a platform managing more than $1 billion in assets without disrupting client service. He also helped onboard more than $10 billion in assets while building systems to support the firm's continued growth.

Earlier in his career, Schembri was a Partner and Director of Investment Operations at Clarfeld Financial Advisors. There, he helped build the firm's operational platform, which supported its long-term growth and contributed to its eventual acquisition.
