ZCGC Appoints Douglas Staudmeister as Managing Director

He will lead efforts focused on operational improvements, business transformation, and growth across portfolio companies and middle-market businesses.

Staudmeister brings more than 20 years of experience working with private equity firms, boards, and executive teams. His expertise includes cost reduction, revenue growth, post-merger integration, supply chain improvements, and strategic planning across industries including aerospace and defense, technology, consumer products, and medical devices.

Before joining ZCGC, Staudmeister was a Director at AlixPartners, where he led business improvement and growth programs for private equity-backed and public companies.

His work included cost reduction, pricing, M&A integration, and operational improvements for companies ranging from startups to large global businesses.

He previously served as President of Maritime Tactical Systems, an autonomous maritime technology company serving the defence and government sectors.

He also held senior roles at Danaher and Dover, leading business turnarounds, operational improvements, and growth initiatives. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Project Leader at The Boston Consulting Group and served as a Captain in the US Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
