Zenskar Raises $15 Million Series A to Expand Agentic Capabilities

Apr 20, 2026 | By Startuprise io

Zenskar, an AI-based billing and revenue automation platform, has raised $15 million in a Series A round led by Susquehanna Venture Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Shine Capital, and Rho.

The round also saw participation from Rocketship, J-Ventures, Future Back Ventures by Bain & Company, and Converge. The company plans to use this funding to expand its AI capabilities, including its Agents Marketplace.

Zenskar was built to simplify revenue automation for modern B2B companies using an AI-first approach. It lets finance teams create and use agents across the order-to-cash process without needing engineers, while its Slack agent and MCP connect with tools like ChatGPT and Claude to help teams assign tasks, review issues, and approve actions from anywhere.

With usage based pricing, prepaid credits, contract changes, minimum commitments, complex customer structures, multiple entities, and different currencies, workarounds can create risks like revenue loss, delayed payments and audit or compliance issues.

Zenskar has achieved 5x revenue growth in the past year, with strong momentum across customers, helping them save time and improve efficiency—companies like Posh are scaling without adding staff, Thriva has reduced monthly billing from days to hours, Pontera can bill in one click, Yembo collects 50% of revenue a month earlier with no leakage, and Vertice closes its books 70% faster.

When standard tools no longer work, teams often have to build and manage their own systems. Sardine did this for four years to support its high-volume, usage-based pricing before finding that Zenskar could handle it more easily.

Unlike platforms that use rigid, one-size-fits-all systems, Zenskar models contract data flexibly, handling changes, usage models, and complex cases. Combined with rule-based calculations and AI, it creates a smooth automated process in which finance teams set the rules, and the system executes them.

“The problems that break finance teams aren't the obvious ones, but the complex ones like bespoke pricing structures that are dynamic, AI token consumption that changes each time a new model drops, or ASC 606-compliant revenue recognition that needs to be closed in a day. What makes Zenskar different is that their AI-native, agentic architecture was built exactly for this, ensuring a developer is not required whenever something changes. We're excited to partner with the team as they make zero-touch finance a reality." Said Anant Vidur Puri, Partner, Bessemer Venture Partners."

Sai Araveti, Investment Advisor, Susquehanna, said, "Finance teams have lagged in AI adoption because accuracy, auditability, and compliance are non-negotiable. Legacy systems treat complexity as an exception, not the norm — forcing teams into costly, error-prone workarounds and making any AI built on top of them unreliable. Zenskar's flexible foundation is what lets AI deliver on its promise."

"Finance teams aren't struggling because they lack AI tools. They're struggling because the systems underneath those tools were built for a simpler world,” said Apurv Bansal, CEO and Co-Founder of Zenskar. “Bolting AI onto these broken foundations preserves their limitations, so we built an entirely new architecture, one that can truly free finance from their operational grunt work so they can focus on strategic work.”
