CA-based Agtonomy Secures $22.5M in Series A Round Funding. Leading the round was Momenta, with Doosan Bobcat North America and Toyota Ventures serving as strategic partners.

CA-based Agtonomy Secures $22.5M in Series A Round Funding. Leading the round was Momenta, with Doosan Bobcat North America and Toyota Ventures serving as strategic partners.

The funds will be utilised by the business to develop its products more quickly and to broaden the reach of its customer pilot programme. Agtonomy is a software and services firm headed by CEO Tim Bucher that specialises in innovative autonomous and AI solutions for agriculture.

Agtonomy incorporates “smarts” into tractors and implements through collaborations with equipment OEMs, such as Bobcat, encouraging digital transformation and providing commercial-scale solutions.

Tim Bucher, Co-Founder and CEO of Agtonomy said, “Agtonomy’s technology is built to be embedded in equipment and implements, upskilling available labor, By collaborating with established OEMs, we fast-track our sustainable technology to market, delivering essential solutions to address the pressing challenges of labor shortages and climate change for farmers and land maintenance operators.”
