AI Startup Vectorial Raises $3M in Seed Funding

SUMMARY

  • Vectorial raised $3 million in seed funding.
  • The funds will support platform development.
  • Vectorial uses AI to test products.

Vectorial, a San Francisco, CA-based human behavior simulation platform for software products and digital experiences, has raised $3 million in a Seed funding round.

The round saw backers including Smilegate, SenseAI Ventures, Berkeley SkyDeck, Berkeley AI Research Lab, Stanford GSB Fund, Dent Capital, and product leaders from Meta, Shopify, and Mastercard.

The company will use the funding to expand its behavioural datasets through new data partnerships and advance its SAPIENS 2.0 platform.

What is Vectorial?

Vectorial develops a human behaviour simulation platform that helps companies understand how people may respond to software products, marketing campaigns and AI agents before they reach real users.

The platform allows product, design and marketing teams to test ideas using digital models of their target customers. Its technology first builds audience models based on real-world behavioural data, then simulates how those audiences might react to different product experiences.

Its SAPIENS system models users' behavioural, psychological and demographic traits to help companies study potential responses. Vectorial aims to make user research faster and more accessible, especially for teams that need to make product decisions quickly.

About Vectorial

How Much Funding Has Vectorial Raised?

Vectorial has raised $3 million in its seed funding round.

The announcement does not provide details of any previous funding rounds or the company's total funding before this investment.

Who Invested in Vectorial’s Seed Round?

The seed round attracted investment from Smilegate, SenseAI Ventures, Berkeley SkyDeck, Berkeley AI Research Lab, Stanford GSB Fund and Dent Capital.

Product leaders from Meta, Shopify and Mastercard also backed the company. The announcement did not identify a lead investor.

Why the Funding Matters

Vectorial will use the funding to expand its behavioural datasets through new data partnerships and advance SAPIENS 2.0.

The company aims to help businesses test product ideas, customer journeys and marketing campaigns without relying entirely on lengthy live-user studies.

Vectorial says traditional AI-moderated interviews can still take days to complete, while some simulated-user tools lack grounding in real behavioural data. Its approach combines audience models based on real data with simulations that fit into product development and launch workflows.

Who founded Vectorial?

Vectorial was founded in 2024 by Taranveer Singh, Jasmine Kaur and Rahul Garg.

The company is based in San Francisco, California.

"We believe AI is creating two distinct frontiers. One focuses on reasoning and solving complex problems, while the other focuses on simulations and decoding human behavior," said Taranveer Singh, Co-founder and CEO, Vectorial. "Two pieces are missing: the ability to simulate many scenarios, and bringing your users directly into the product building ecosystem."

"We continue to invest in our behavior model, but a model alone doesn't solve the problem," said Rahul Garg, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Vectorial. "That's why we put behavior models to work inside the product development loop. We believe this fundamentally changes how products are designed and built.

Market and Business Growth

Vectorial serves customers across healthcare, gaming and e-commerce. Its customers include MIDI Health, GoodRx, Suki AI, boAt, Everkind and Concrete Software, as well as public companies and large enterprises.

According to the company, customers run around 600 simulations each month, equivalent to approximately 40 user studies. They conduct about 20 times more research than before adopting the platform.

What Happens Next?

Vectorial plans to expand its behavioural datasets through new data partnerships and continue developing SAPIENS 2.0.

The company aims to make behaviour simulation a regular part of how businesses build and launch software products, digital experiences and AI agents.
