Anchor Health Properties Appoints Jake Kirchner as Senior Vice President

Jul 2, 2026 | By Startuprise io

Anchor Health Properties, a national healthcare real estate development, management, and investment company, has appointed Jake Kirchner, DPM, FACHE, as Senior Vice President of Strategic Advisory Services.

Based in Orlando, Florida, Kirchner will help strengthen the company's pre-development and advisory services. He will work with healthcare organizations early in the planning process to support growth, capital investment, and real estate decisions.

Kirchner brings more than 15 years of experience in clinical practice, healthcare administration, strategic planning, and academic instruction. His background gives him a strong understanding of the operational, financial, and strategic challenges facing healthcare providers.

Kirchner will work closely with health systems, physician groups, and healthcare providers to turn clinical and operational goals into practical real estate strategies. He will help clients identify market opportunities, evaluate demand for healthcare services, and plan new development projects from the early stages.

He will also lead strategic initiatives that strengthen outpatient care networks, improve patient access and support the long term growth of healthcare providers in both emerging and competitive markets.

Jake joins Anchor Health Properties from HCA Healthcare, where he served as Division Vice President for the North Florida Division. In that role, he led facility planning, service line development, network expansion, physician partnerships, and community engagement across a 15-hospital system.

He also led the local development of the UCF Lake Nona Medical Center, a joint venture hospital that expanded access to healthcare in one of Central Florida's fastest-growing areas. In addition, he supported the development of two new hospitals and helped expand the division's network of freestanding emergency departments.

Before joining HCA Healthcare, Jake spent six years at Florida Hospital, now AdventHealth, where he worked on system-wide strategy and planning, building the experience that later supported his executive leadership career.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Truman State University, a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Central Florida, and a Doctorate in Podiatric Surgery from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

"What drew me to Anchor Health Properties is the chance to work at the intersection of strategy and execution, where decisions still have room to be shaped," added Jake Kirchner, Senior Vice President, Strategic Advisory Services with Anchor Health Properties. "Having worked on the health system side, I understand the pressures leaders face in balancing growth, access and capital planning. I'm excited to bring that perspective to clients, and support them in turning strategy into actionable, high-value development decisions."

"Jake brings a unique ability to connect strategy, operations, and real estate in a way that directly benefits our clients," shared Katie Jacoby, Executive Vice President, Strategy & Development & Partner with Anchor Health Properties. "His expertise and perspective strengthen how we engage at the front end of the process - supporting clients to define and clarify priorities to ultimately make better, more strategic, data-informed decisions about where and how care is delivered."
