Boston Consulting Group Appoints Mel Wolfgang as North America Regional Chair

Boston Consulting Group has announced that Mel Wolfgang is the new North America Regional Chair. He replaces Sharon Marcil and will be responsible for overseeing the firms business across the United States, Canada, Mexico and Costa Rica.
Mel Wolfgang has worked at the Boston Consulting Group for 27 years, serving in several leadership roles. Most recently, he led a committee focused on developing senior partners and helped shape the firm’s people strategy at both practice and regional levels. He also works with clients on large-scale transformation projects across industries, including industrial goods, transportation, logistics, and the public sector.
Boston Consulting Group has appointed Mel Wolfgang to replace Sharon Marcil as North America Regional Chair as her term ends. Since 2021, Marcil has helped strengthen BCGs presence in the region amid major economic and business change. Under her leadership the firm expanded its industry expertise, advanced its AI efforts, integrated BCG X more deeply across the region, improved its work on cost competitiveness and strengthened relationships with CEOs, and senior clients.
