[Funding News] DC-based Connexus Secures $800K in Seed Funding

Connexus, a supplier of an RFP and procurement platform for the real estate industry, raises $800K in seed funding.
Middleburg Communities led the round, which included executives and founders of several startups, including Todd Butler (Sentral and Migo) and Demetrios Barnes (SmartRent and Umbrello).

The funds will be used by the company to expand its operations and further improve its technology platform. It is , under the direction of CEO Devin Wirt, offers a platform that boosts profitability for the real estate sector through its four main verticals: contract administration, data analysis, insurance compliance, and procurement. There are more than 200,000 of them on the platform.
