Courier Health Raises $50M in Series B Funding

Apr 23, 2026 | By Startuprise io

Courier Health, a NYC-based technology company for managing patient experiences, has raised $50 Mmillion in a Series B funding round led by Oak HC/FT, with participation from existing investors including Norwest and Work-Bench.

The company plans to use the funds to speed up product innovation and strengthen its role as a platform for managing and personalizing patient journeys across the life sciences industry.

Despite major advances in the life sciences, many companies still struggle to support patients effectively because their data is scattered across different systems and poorly connected. According to the 2026 State of Patient-Centricity report, nearly 60% of biopharma companies say their data is fragmented or hard to use, and fewer than 10% have the level of data maturity needed to use AI in a meaningful way.

Courier Health addresses these challenges by connecting patient-related data and systems into one platform. It uses intelligence to generate insights, identify patients at risk, and help deliver a more coordinated and seamless experience throughout the patient journey.

Courier Health offers a system that connects data, uses AI to power smart workflows, and provides easy-to-use tools for market access and patient support teams. It also includes AI agents that automate key tasks to improve efficiency and scale.

The platform manages the full patient journey, from education and enrollment to insurance approval, treatment start and ongoing care. This gives biopharma teams greater visibility, and control, helping them deliver smoother, higher quality interactions with providers, pharmacies, patients, and their families.

"Our vision is to rewrite the patient experience in healthcare, starting with simplifying and coordinating complex patient journeys for those who depend on innovative medicines," said Danny Sigurdson, Founder and CEO of Courier Health. "Our partnership with Oak HC/FT provides the strategic support and capital to accelerate our mission, scale our platform and agentic AI capabilities, and continue investing in our world-class team to ensure our customers are successful. When our customers are successful, patients achieve better health outcomes, and that is our north star."

"Healthcare, especially life sciences, has long lacked a dedicated, purpose-built platform to manage patients," said Billy Deitch, Partner, Oak HC/FT. "True patient-centricity is often promised but rarely delivered, and Courier Health changes that narrative. They provide essential infrastructure and an incredibly thoughtful AI strategy that biopharma is excited to adopt at a rapid pace. Oak is proud to partner with Danny and his team as they redefine the standard for the patient experience."
