Texas-Based BNSF Logistics Appoints Tim Humbert as Chief Commercial Officer

As Chief Commercial Officer, Tim Humbert will lead BNSF Logistics' sales, business development, commercial operations, and marketing teams.

He will focus on growing the company's business, building stronger customer relationships, expanding into new markets, and strengthening BNSF Logistics' position as a leading provider of rail and multimodal logistics solutions.

Tim Humbert brings more than 25 years of leadership experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain management, commercial strategy, and intermodal operations. He has led large commercial teams, managed logistics operations, and driven business growth across North America.

Before joining BNSF Logistics, he held senior leadership roles at Stoughton Trailers, International Motors, and C.H. Robinson, where he worked on commercial strategy, product development and multimodal transportation solutions. He earned an MBA from Purdue University and a bachelor's degree from Illinois State University.
