Who founded Doughy?
Doughy was founded in 2022 by Kelly Ramey. The company is headquartered in Santa Monica, California.
"Doughy is our first CPG investment, and it's exactly the kind of company we set out to back," said John Lowe, Managing Director of Amok Consumer Growth Fund and former CEO of Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. "What made Jeni's special in its early days was the ability to take something familiar and completely reinvent it. Kelly has done the same with cookie dough, building an entirely new recipe around cashews.

Doughy has expanded from a homemade cookie dough recipe into a retail brand with a presence at Whole Foods Market, Fresh Thyme Market, Wegmans and other retailers.
The company describes its products as the top-selling cookie dough brand at Erewhon.
From November 1, the refreshed packaging and new format are scheduled to appear in the refrigerated dough section of select Target stores across the United States. The launch includes limited-edition Gingerbread, Sugar Cookie and Peppermint Bark flavours, alongside its Chocolate Chip variety.
What Happens Next?
Doughy plans to expand its retail business with new packaging formats and seasonal product launches. Its latest Target rollout marks another step in its efforts to reach more customers across the US.
