Fintech Startup OneAscent Appoints Monica Stoudemire as Chief Compliance Officer

Most recently, Stoudemire served as a Senior Principal Consultant at Advisor Compliance Associates (ACA). Before joining ACA, she was Chief Compliance Officer at a Birmingham-area wealth management firm.

During her time there, she helped the company complete the successful acquisition of a larger firm based in Chicago, Illinois.

As Chief Compliance Officer, Stoudemire will lead OneAscent’s compliance program across OneAscent Wealth, OneAscent Financial, OneAscent Investments, OneAscent Capital, and OneAscent Family Offices.

She will oversee compliance policies, regulatory filings and risk management as the company expands its advisor network and values-based investment solutions.

Before joining OneAscent, Stoudemire served as Chief Compliance Officer at Bridgeworth Wealth Management, where she helped manage compliance for a firm with more than $2 billion in client assets. After Savant Wealth Management acquired Bridgeworth, she continued as Compliance Manager in Savant’s M&A team.

Most recently, Stoudemire provided compliance consulting services to registered investment advisers. She holds a Juris Doctor degree and the Certified Securities Compliance Professional – Investment Adviser (CSCP-IA®) designation.
