Hemlo Mining Corp. Appoints Eva Koci to Board of Directors

Hemlo Mining Corp. announced that Eva Koci, an experienced capital markets executive, has been appointed as an independent director on the company's Board of Directors, effective immediately. Following her appointment, the Board consists of seven directors, with a majority serving as independent members.
Ms. Koci has also been appointed Chair of the company's Compensation Committee and will serve as a member of its Audit Committee.
Ms. Koci brings more than 20 years of experience in capital markets and investment banking, with a strong focus on the mining industry. Most recently, she served as Partner and Head of Capital Markets at Oberon Capital Corporation from 2013 to 2024. During her time there, she helped grow the firm into one of Canada's leading charity flow-through financing companies, raising more than $1.5 billion.
She began her career in investment banking at Scotia Capital Markets before moving into institutional equity sales. At Jennings Capital, she served as Vice President of Institutional Equity Sales from 2003 to 2010, where she built and expanded the firm's U.S. institutional investor business.

Ms. Koci later joined Stifel Nicolaus Canada Inc. as Managing Director of Institutional Equity Sales. From 2010 to 2013, she continued working closely with U.S. institutional investors until the company exited its Canadian operations.
She also served as an independent director and audit committee member of South Kirkland Gold (formerly Canadian Gold Miner Corp.) from 2017 to 2024. In that role, she provided capital markets expertise and helped support the company's strategic growth and future public market plans.
Ms. Koci is a CFA charterholder and holds an MBA in Finance from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. She also earned both a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in French Language and Literature from Western University.
