Senra builds advanced wire harness systems used in aircraft, spacecraft, launch vehicles, satellites, defense systems, and other high-performance platforms.

The company uses its proprietary software platform, Amp, to manage the entire manufacturing process, including quoting, engineering, production, and supply chain operations. This integrated approach helps reduce manual work, improve efficiency and deliver products faster with more consistent quality.

The company recently appointed former SpaceX CIO Ken Venner, who helped build enterprise systems and manufacturing infrastructure that supported SpaceX’s rapid growth. As Senra’s Chief Technology and Product Officer, Venner will lead the development of the company’s manufacturing platform and operational systems to support its next phase of expansion.

Senra is growing as demand for wire harnesses increases across the defense industry, while manufacturers face workforce shortages and outdated manual processes that slow production. As defense needs continue to rise, Senra is using software-driven workflows and training programs to help new technicians learn quickly and build complex wire harnesses in weeks instead of years.

"Senra is building a fully integrated design and manufacturing solution for a critical capability needed to accelerate production across aerospace, defense, energy and compute," said Achal Upadhyaya, founder of Interlagos.

"Wire harnesses sit behind everything that turns on and they're still built by hand. Senra automates production, and trains the workforce to run it, which turns a chokepoint into capacity the country can build on," said Caie Kelley general partner at Lowercarbon Capital.

"One of the biggest bottlenecks in aerospace and defense manufacturing today is the skyrocketing demand for wire harnesses," said Jordan Black, co-founder and CEO of Senra Systems. "Wire harnesses are the nervous system behind every advanced platform, yet they're still built on PDFs, spreadsheets and tribal knowledge. It's a 100% manual assembly process. We started Senra to solve one of the most overlooked, but consequential bottlenecks in the aerospace and defense ecosystem.

About Senra Systems

Founded in 2023 by Jordan Black, Senra Systems uses software and automation to improve wire harness manufacturing for the U.S. aerospace and defense industries. Wire harnesses act as the backbone of these platforms by connecting power, data, communication, and critical systems. Senra is transforming the traditionally manual manufacturing process with digital tools, automation, and workforce training to deliver faster production, better scalability, and consistent quality.
