Kyndryl Announces Ellen Johnson as Incoming Chief Financial Officer

Kyndryl, a leading provider of enterprise technology services, has appointed Ellen Johnson as its incoming Chief Financial Officer and Andrew Bonzani as General Counsel and Secretary.
The appointments follow a comprehensive search for experienced leaders with strong operational expertise and a successful track record at public companies.
Ellen Johnson will join Kyndryl on July 20 and officially become Chief Financial Officer on August 6. She joins from Interpublic Group (IPG), where she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 2020 to 2025. During her 25 years at IPG, she held several senior finance leadership roles, including CFO of IPG Mediabrands and Senior Vice President and Treasurer.

Johnson also serves on the Board of Directors of Nexstar Media Group and recently worked as an advisor-in-residence for the EY Center for Executive Leadership. She holds an MBA in Finance from New York University Stern School of Business and a bachelor's degree in accounting from the State University of New York at Albany.
Harsh Chugh will continue as Interim Chief Financial Officer until August 5, when Kyndryl expects to file its first-quarter fiscal 2027 earnings report and Form 10-Q. He will remain with the company to support a smooth leadership transition.
Andrew Bonzani has been appointed as Kyndryl's General Counsel and Secretary, effective immediately. He joins the company from Interpublic Group (IPG), where he served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. During his time at IPG, he held several senior legal leadership roles after joining the company in 2012.
Before IPG, Bonzani spent 18 years in IBM's legal department, most recently as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel, and Secretary, overseeing the company's corporate legal functions. He earned his law degree from St. John's University School of Law and a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Binghamton University. Meanwhile, Mark Ringes, who served as Interim General Counsel and Secretary, has returned to his previous role as Deputy General Counsel.
