CA-based Power secures $12million in series A round funding. Kin Ventures and Contrary led the round, and other participants included Footwork, AirAngels, Artis Ventures, 20Growth, Moment, and Otherwise Fund.
Power offers a platform for clinical trials that facilitates finding and connecting with potential clinical trials and researchers for all patients.

Power’s patient interface receives information from the technology that compiles clinical trial data. Currently, there are three main ways that the product helps patients throughout their journey:
Discover, by facilitating the discovery of pertinent trials and making it simple for a wide range of patients to locate Power.
Evaluate, by giving patients access to FAQs, eligibility restrictions, and plain-language summaries to help them comprehend the trade-offs of each study.
Connect, by facilitating patients’ direct communication and connection with researchers.

Power think that if taking part in a clinical study could benefit a patient, then every patient should have that opportunity. Sadly, the majority of patients are now inherently excluded from the clinical trial system.
