
Sophia Space, a Pasadena, CA-based company building AI infrastructure and intelligent systems for the space economy, has raised $7 million in a SAFE funding round.
The round saw the Backers included EverGreen – The NVIDIA Alumni Investment Network – Evergreen, SparkLabs Group, and other strategic investors. The raise brought the total amount to $22 million to date.
The company plans to use the funding to enhance its product development efforts, expand its engineering and commercial teams, strengthen strategic partnerships and accelerate the deployment of Sophia Spaces technology platform across government, commercial, and international markets.
Sophia Space focuses on building technologies that enable smarter, scalable, and more autonomous operations in the growing space industry. The company works at the intersection of artificial intelligence, advanced computing, and aerospace innovation, serving both Earth-based and orbital use cases.
