SUMMARY

  • StimCardio raised $30 million.
  • The funds will support trials.
  • It makes wearable heart devices.

StimCardio, a Los Angeles, CA-based clinical-stage medical device company developing non-invasive wearable therapeutics for atrial fibrillation, has raised $30 million in a Series A financing round.

The round was led by Metis Medtech with participation from Catalyst Health Ventures, multiple corporate strategic investors, and other new and existing investors.

The company will use the funding to conduct its planned NeuroPulse 2 pivotal study and prepare for a De Novo regulatory submission to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

What is StimCardio?

StimCardio develops non-invasive wearable medical devices designed to treat cardiac rhythm disorders, including atrial fibrillation (AF).

Its lead investigational product, Rhyvive, is a wrist-worn device that uses median nerve stimulation (MNS) to target nerve pathways involved in heart rhythm regulation.

The device combines physiological sensors with electrical nerve stimulation through a closed-loop system. It is designed to complement catheter ablation, a procedure used to treat atrial fibrillation, by extending treatment into patients' homes.

Rhyvive aims to reduce the recurrence of abnormal heart rhythm episodes following catheter ablation. The product is still under clinical investigation and has not been cleared for commercial use.

Why the Funding Matters

StimCardio will use the new capital to advance clinical testing of Rhyvive and prepare for its next regulatory milestone.

The funding will support the planned NeuroPulse 2 pivotal study and preparations for a De Novo submission to the FDA. These steps are important for evaluating the device's safety and effectiveness and pursuing regulatory authorisation in the US.

The investment follows results from the company's NeuroPulse 1 pilot study, which was presented as a late-breaking clinical trial at HRX Live 2026 and published in the journal Heart Rhythm.

Who founded StimCardio?

StimCardio Medical was founded by Amos Ziv and Tsahi Holand. The company is headquartered in Los Angeles, California.

"Our vision is to establish non-invasive neuromodulation as a new therapeutic category in cardiac electrophysiology," said Amir Soltanianzadeh, CEO of StimCardio Medical. "This financing brings together investors with deep expertise in cardiac device innovation and provides the resources to deliver a first-of-its-kind, multicenter pivotal study.

"StimCardio is pioneering innovative technology positioned to disrupt the cardiac electrophysiology arena," said John Slump, CEO and founder of Metis MedTech and a StimCardio board member. "Despite decades of advances in catheter ablation procedures, AF recurrence remains a significant unmet clinical challenge.

Market and Business Growth

StimCardio is currently focused on developing wearable neuromodulation treatments for patients with atrial fibrillation.

Its NeuroPulse 1 pilot study has provided initial clinical evidence for its median nerve stimulation approach. The company is now preparing to move forward with the larger NeuroPulse 2 pivotal study.

What Happens Next?

StimCardio plans to conduct its NeuroPulse 2 pivotal study and prepare its De Novo submission to the FDA. The company also aims to continue developing wearable neuromodulation technology for atrial fibrillation and other cardiovascular applications.
