Sunrise AI, a fintech company based in New York City, secures an undisclosed amount in pre- seed funding. The AI Fund of Andrew Ng led the round.
With the funding, the company hopes to improve its AI models, broaden the range of products it offers, and expand its customer base beyond real estate. Xi Palazzolo and CEO Deepak Shrivastava co-founded Sunrise AI, a fintech startup whose objective is to revolutionise credit evaluation.

Its tools use cutting-edge AI and machine learning to analyse large amounts of open banking and comprehensive data to produce inclusive, accurate credit assessments.
In contrast to conventional credit scoring services, Sunrise AI uses machine learning technology to examine a variety of user-permitted data sources, such as macroeconomic and open banking data, in order to provide a more impartial and inclusive assessment of creditworthiness.

The company’s first product, SunScoreTM, gives property owners access to a sophisticated risk management system with the goal of preventing rental fraud, obtaining precise credit insights, and improving lease income analytics.
