TrendAI Extends the NVIDIA Agent Safety Platform with Threat Intelligence

As companies increasingly use AI agents in their operations, TrendAI and NVIDIA believe security needs to be built into every layer of the technology. They said no single security control can fully protect an AI agent.

AI agents have three main parts: the model that makes decisions, the system that manages the agent and its sub-agents, and the tools and data it can access.

These systems can hold credentials, remember information between sessions and take actions on production systems without human approval at every step. As companies expand from small AI projects to larger fleets of agents, security has become an important part of deploying AI agents in production.

The NVIDIA Agent Safety Platform puts security controls in the infrastructure that runs underneath AI agents. NVIDIA says OpenShell applies security policies outside the agent’s environment, making them harder for the agent to bypass.

NVIDIA BlueField-4 DPUs and NVIDIA DOCA add another security layer directly at the hardware level. TrendAI adds threat intelligence, visibility into agent activity, and tools to detect and respond to potential threats.
