Worldly Buys Bendi Software to Add AI Supply Chain Tools

May 4, 2026 | By Startuprise io

Worldly, a leading sustainability and supply chain intelligence platform for consumer goods, has acquired Bendi Software Ltd., a UK-based company that maps supply chains and provides supplier risk insights.

For brands dealing with complex global regulations, it is becoming more important—and harder—to track and manage risks beyond their direct (Tier 1) suppliers. This acquisition strengthens Worldly’s ability to provide better visibility across the entire supply chain.

The acquisition comes as new rules require large companies to check their entire supply chains more carefully. The EU’s Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), updated under the Omnibus I package and set to take effect in July 2029, will require major companies in the EU to identify and address human rights and environmental risks across their operations. At the same time, forced labor laws are already in place in countries such as the United States and Germany, as well as in other regions.

The acquisition adds three key tools from Bendi Software Ltd. to Worldly. Pathfinder maps supply chains automatically across deeper levels, helping brands find suppliers they didn’t know about. In contrast, Prism rates supplier risk using data from many public sources and scores them across environmental, labor, and governance factors.

VendorPilot uses AI to speed up sustainability assessments and reduce factories' workload, including tools such as the Higg Index, managed by Cascale, which improve data quality and accelerate the process across the Worldly platform.

Bendi Software Ltd.’s technology will be integrated into the Worldly platform in the coming months, improving tools such as Worldly Axion and Supplier Compliance Management. This will give customers better visibility into deeper levels of their supply chains, up-to-date risk scores for suppliers, and AI-powered assessments—all in one place, rather than using multiple vendors.

These new regulations are increasing demand for the capabilities built by Bendi Software Ltd., such as deeper supply chain visibility, supplier risk assessment, and proper due diligence records. With Bendi now integrated into Worldly’s platform, including its Supplier Compliance Management tools, Worldly is better able to meet these compliance needs at scale and reduce hidden risks in supply chains.

"For years, our customers have told us the same thing: visibility is much more challenging beyond Tier 1 suppliers — and that blind spot is exactly where the greatest labor, environmental, and compliance risk lives," said Scott Raskin, CEO of Worldly. "Regulators and stakeholders are now demanding answers in that gap, and the consequences — legal exposure, reputational harm, and supply chain disruption — are escalating fast. Worldly is building the largest network of primary supplier data in the consumer goods industry; Bendi adds AI-powered discovery and risk intelligence for suppliers that brands haven't yet engaged with directly. Together, we'll give companies the visibility to manage risk proactively, not just react after the fact."

"We started Bendi because fewer than half of companies have full visibility into their supply chain, and visibility falls off fastest exactly where the risk is highest, deep in the tiers where labor and environmental harm are most likely to occur. That's the problem we've spent years solving,” said Mandeep Soor, Co-founder & CEO, Bendi. “Joining Worldly means we can bring that capability to the brands and manufacturers that need it urgently, and at a scale that simply wasn't possible independently."
