AltaML Receives $6.1M Investment from VerticalScope Holdings

AltaML Inc., an Edmonton, Alberta-based company that develops AI solutions for businesses, has received a $6.1 million investment from VerticalScope Holdings.
The company will use the funding to expand its operations and accelerate the development of its AI products and services.
As part of the deal, AltaML also issued a five-year warrant to VerticalScope, giving the company the option to buy preferred shares in AltaML. This allows VerticalScope to gain an equity stake in AltaML in the future.

AltaML develops AI solutions for governments and businesses across industries such as energy, legal, technology and financial services. The company builds AI-powered workflows, large language model (LLM) integrations, and automation tools to help organizations improve their operations.
AltaML works closely with customers by placing AI specialists within their teams. It is also the creator of AltaForge, its own AI platform designed to build and manage intelligent AI agents.
