BAE Systems Appoints Michael Loeffler as Vice President of Supply Chain

BAE Systems has appointed Michael Loeffler as it's new Vice President of Supply Chain, effective August 24, 2026.

Loeffler will lead BAE Systems’ supply chain team, focusing on strategy, execution and strong delivery for customers.
He takes over from Brad Pelachyk, who is now the Senior Vice President and Chief Global Supply Chain Officer at BAE Systems plc.

Loeffler has more than 20 years of leadership experience in the aerospace and defense industry. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Global Supply Chain & Logistics at Bell, and previously held supply chain roles at L3Harris, GE Aviation and Boeing.
Before joining the aerospace industry, Loeffler served as a submariner in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Kentucky and later worked as a staff instructor at the Navy Nuclear Power Training Command.
Loeffler holds a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, an MBA from The Citadel, and a master's degree in engineering management from Old Dominion University.
