The company plans to use the funding to grow its retail distribution, develop new clean-label products, and expand its presence in mainstream grocery stores.

Harken Sweets is reimagining chocolate by creating products that are better for you without sacrificing taste. The brand uses whole-food dates instead of refined sugar or artificial sweeteners, resulting in lower sugar and up to 14g of fiber per serving in a clean-label format that appeals to mainstream consumers.

Today, Harken Sweets is available in major retail stores such as Sprouts Farmers Market, Whole Foods Market, Kroger, Costco, Walmart, Albertsons, and Wegmans, as well as online at HarkenSweets.com.
