HealthCare Company Emmes Group Appoints Rama Kondru as Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Directors said it is confident in Dr. Kondru’s ability to drive innovation and improve operations. His leadership will also support Emmes’ focus on scientific research, technology, and artificial intelligence.

Dr. Kondru joined The Emmes Group in 2024 and most recently served as CEO of Veridix, the company’s AI, technology, and data sciences business. He will now lead Emmes as it combines nearly 50 years of scientific experience with modern AI and technology.

Dr. Kondru brings strong experience in scientific research, technology, and global business operations. His background in building and growing technology platforms will support Emmes as it enters its next phase of growth and works to speed up biomedical research.

Before joining The Emmes Group, Dr. Kondru served as Co-CEO of Medidata Solutions, a global clinical development technology company. He helped grow its cloud based platform and brings 25 years of experience across pharmaceuticals, healthcare technology, data science, and academia.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Kondru held senior leadership roles at Janssen Americas and Johnson & Johnson. He also worked in leadership positions at UCB Pharma and F. Hoffmann-La Roche, where he focused on technology, research, and innovation.
