Massachusetts-Based Dynatrace Appoints Chandu Thota to its Board of Directors

Thota brings more than 20 years of experience building and growing AI, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise software platforms. He has held senior technology leadership roles at major companies, including Google and Microsoft.

In addition to joining the Dynatrace Board, Chandu Thota currently serves as Vice President of Engineering at Google Workspace. He leads a global engineering team that builds secure AI-powered communication, productivity, and collaboration tools used by more than 4 billion users and millions of businesses worldwide.

During his 15 years at Alphabet, he has also held leadership roles at Google DeepMind, Google Cloud, and Google Maps. Before joining Google, he co-founded a technology startup that was later acquired by the company, and earlier worked in engineering roles at Microsoft.

Thota is also an active technology innovator. He holds several patents in mobile, web, search, and mapping technologies, and has written two technical books.
