SponsorCX Raises Additional Funding In Series A Led by Kickstart

May 19, 2026 | By Startuprise io

SponsorCX, a Lehi, UT-based provider of a platform that simplifies and modernizes partnership operations, has received an additional investment in its Series A funding round, led by Kickstart.

The round also saw participation from Blueprint Equity, Capital Eleven, Frazier Group, Helm Ventures, and several returning investors. The amount of the funding was not disclosed.

The company plans to use the funding to expand operations, strengthen product development, and grow its AI capabilities across its platform. The investment will also support deeper enterprise features, stronger connections between leagues, brands, and teams, and continued global expansion.

SponsorCX said the investment highlights the growing industry shift toward AI-powered sponsorship management. The company believes organizations that adopt modern sponsorship technology early will have a stronger competitive advantage as sponsor expectations continue to rise.

According to SponsorCX, large enterprise organizations with complex sponsorship programs are among the earliest adopters of AI powered sponsorship technology. These companies are investing in tools that help scale operations, improve ROI tracking, and strengthen accountability across stakeholders.

SponsorCX provides a platform that helps organizations manage sponsorship operations by centralizing workflows, tracking sponsorship fulfillment, managing inventory, and measuring partner value. The company said AI is helping speed up this transformation by turning manual tasks into smarter automated workflows that improve efficiency, speed, and accountability.

The global sponsorship industry is going through a major shift as organizations move away from outdated systems and manual processes toward AI-powered sponsorship platforms. According to SponsorCX, the sponsorship industry is worth more than $100 billion globally. Still, it has long relied on spreadsheets, generic CRM systems, and disconnected tools, which create inefficiencies and make it harder to demonstrate value to sponsors.

“The sponsorship industry has outgrown the old ways of operating. Managing complex partner relationships with disconnected tools isn’t just inefficient; it’s a competitive disadvantage. The organizations that are winning are the ones investing in technology built for this work. AI is accelerating that advantage, and the gap between those who modernize and those who don’t is only going to grow, "said Jason Smith, CEO, SponsorCX."

“We believe the sponsorship industry is in the early innings of a major cultural and technological shift. Live sports and entertainment are becoming more prominent in a digital world, creating space for innovation and new customer experiences. SponsorCX is building at this intersection, building AI-powered infrastructure to modernize sponsorship workflows. We believe Jason, Creed, and the SponsorCX team are building a category leader that will continue to define what modern sponsorship operations look like for leagues, brands, and teams around the world, "said Tanner Potter, Partner, Kickstart | Board Member, SponsorCX."
