Ventra Health Appoints David Sides as Chief Executive Officer

David Sides brings more than 30 years of experience leading and growing healthcare technology companies. He succeeds Steven Huddleston as part of a planned leadership transition at Ventra Health.

Before joining Ventra Health, David Sides served as President and CEO of NextGen Healthcare and continues to serve on its Board of Directors. During his leadership, the company became a major player in ambulatory healthcare technology and completed a $1.8 billion transaction with Thoma Bravo in 2023.

He has also been recognized as a leading healthcare technology CEO and a strong advocate for responsible AI use in healthcare. Earlier in his career, Sides was Chief Operating Officer at Teladoc Health, where he led global commercial and operations teams during a period of rapid growth that doubled company revenue.

Under the leadership of David Sides, Ventra Health will continue focusing on strengthening relationships with physician clients, expanding AI and automation across its revenue cycle platform, and growing in both existing and new market segments. The company’s leadership team and operating structure will remain the same, while Sides focuses on driving the next stage of growth.
